On the 25th of October 2007 the regional council of Paris Region certified the topic « Stem Cells and Cellular therapy » as a Major Field of Interest (MFI).
The MFI has been created to optimize the regional policy and its federative nature by supporting cooperative programs on targeted topics. Coordinated by a leading structure, the Paris’ Hospital Public Assistance (AP-HP) and managed by the STEM-Pole, those research programs are supported by investments (equipments, real estates programs) and functioning (research granting for PhD, scientific events).
